Welcome to the SET Advising Chat Portal!
SET advisors are typically available to chat online from 11am-1pm, Monday-Friday to answer quick questions from current or prospective students. If the chat badge is purple and states "ONLINE" at any time, you're welcome to click on the icon and fill in the required information to initiate a conversation with an advisor. If the badge is gray and states "OFFLINE", clicking on the icon will allow you to send an email to SET.
For more in-depth questions, or questions that require you to share sensitive information (such as your UW student ID number), please either email a SET advisor directly or schedule an appointment.
The chat system has several features that you are able to use:

Gives you a listing of various emoticons you can add to your chat. |

Allows you to send files directly to your chat operator. |

Emails a copy of your chat transcript to an email of your choice. |

Sends a copy of your chat transcript to your designated printer. |
