Welcome to the Veteran and Military Resource Center’s VA Education benefits certification request page.
RECENT UPDATE TO FORM: Effective August 1, 2018, the monthly housing allowance will now be based on the zip code where the student physically attends the majority of classes, rather than the location of the institution of higher learning where the student is enrolled. When adding courses to your certification request, you are required to enter the location zip code for each course.
NEW STUDENTS USING VA EDUCATION BENEFITS FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS:
Step one: Turn in all required documents to the VMRC. More information on Initializing Benefits
Step two: Meet with an advisor to register for classes. More information on Academic Advising
Step three: Login with the link to the left using your UW NetID to request certification. Fill out the required fields and submit your schedule. This applies to all benefit chapters. Also, please have your UW student ID number, since you will have to input the number for your initial certification request. Before continuing on this page you will need to have already registered for your upcoming courses. You will be required to list course numbers, course names, and number of credits.
RETURNING STUDENTS USING VA EDUCATION BENEFITS FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS:
Step one: Register for your classes.
Step two: Login with the link to the left using your UW NetID to request certification.
